School Systems / Universities Services
Schools harbor our most precious clients. Your Children. These facilities require a high standard of safety and control measures, combined with the need to get these kids back into a completely cleaned environment ASAP. We adhere to ICRA standards for controlling airborne particulate through work practices designed with safety and considerations of the patients. We also generally use “green” products, unless otherwise specified by an Industrial Hygienist.
Schools may develop moisture and dampness problems from roof and window leaks, high indoor humidity, and flooding events, among other things. This can lead to the growth of mold, fungi, and bacteria; the release of volatile organic compounds; and the breakdown of building materials.
Research studies have shown that exposures to building dampness and mold have been associated with respiratory symptoms, asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, rhinosinusitis, bronchitis, and respiratory infections.
ESNJ sees it as essential to take all of the possible environmental impacts that a building’s conditions could have on its occupants, while developing and carrying out any mitigation plan and Scope of Work
